Sarah, of Rusty’s Room, is a self-taught weaver, spinner, and nature-inspired maker who crafts distinctive, one-of-a-kind pieces from her home studio in Marehay.

Guided by a love of colour and texture, Sarah’s work celebrates the tactile beauty of hand-spun wool and earthy colour palettes. Her practice bridges traditional textile techniques and contemporary design, often incorporating materials such as laser-cut walnut veneer to frame and elevate some of her woven creations.

Whether it’s a simple woven bookmark, a richly textured wall hanging, or a hand- spun skein of wool, each piece carry a feeling of warmth, authenticity, and connection to nature.
